How I can help

Illustrative scene: a homebuyer calling to arrange a property viewing

AI phone receptionist

An AI receptionist for your business phone line. It answers calls, handles common questions, takes customer details, and books appointments using your services, prices, and availability.

Illustrative scene: a dog walker reviewing an invoice after a walk

Mobile invoicing app

An app for recording work and creating invoices on site. Enter the job details once to produce a service record and a separate customer invoice. Works on your phone, even without internet.

Online booking system

A booking page where customers choose a time and confirm an appointment. Available times account for your calendar and planned work, so a new booking fits what you can actually take on.

Social media management

A managed service for creating and publishing social posts, articles, and short videos. You provide the ideas and material; I prepare the content, get your approval, and publish it on an agreed schedule.

AI search optimization

A website audit and update service focused on AI search. I check whether AI assistants can find and accurately describe your business, then fix gaps in your pages, business details, and supporting information.

Task & calendar management

A managed planning service that keeps your tasks and calendar in step. I organize work around deadlines and available time, suggest changes when plans shift, and update the schedule after your approval.

Training & onboarding materials

Guides, online lessons, and quizzes built from your processes and expertise. Use them to train new employees, refresh existing staff, or turn your knowledge into a course. You review the material before it is used.

Custom websites & apps

A website that explains your business and helps customers take the next step: request a quote, book a visit, or place an order. I also build customer portals, staff dashboards, and tools for the work behind the scenes.

How we work together

  1. Talk it through

We look at what's getting in your way and agree on what is worth fixing.

  2. Build and try it

I build the solution and test it with you in your day-to-day work.

  3. Keep it useful

We review the result, make improvements, and decide whether you need ongoing help.

Before we start, we agree on the work, the price, and what a good result looks like. You pay once and own what we build; see the PickBits Challenge.

The PickBits Challenge

Stop renting software
you barely use.

Personalized software is for people with work to get done who are tired of paying every month for features they never use, redesigns they didn’t ask for, and requests that never ship.

The PickBits Challenge: add up what your business pays in a year for the software you’d replace, and halve it. The one-time build should come in under that number, and then the software is yours.

Builds run from $500 to $5,000, billed mostly on time and materials. What moves a build up the range is how much process and data governance your business needs. If part of it runs in the cloud, you pay what the cloud costs, passed through at cost. Software that runs offline on a PC or a phone has no ongoing cost.

Keep renting card payments, payroll and email.

Client work / field operations

One visit. One entry.
Both documents ready.

Before: carbon-copy tickets in the driveway, followed by re-keying the visit later.

After: one offline entry produces a service record and a separate invoice. The system is in daily field use.

What's holding your business back?

Tell me what your business does, where the work gets stuck, and what better would look like. A few honest sentences are enough.

I'll help you work out the first useful step. If AI or automation isn't the right answer, I'll say so.
