Work with Mark / Phoenix + remote

Let's find the thing worth fixing.

Work directly with me to understand the bottleneck, build a useful solution, and measure what changes.

You bring the context. I bring the operating experience and the ability to build.

Find the constraint. Build the system. Measure the result.

Then decide what's next.

The engagement

One useful step.
Then the next.

Start with a free conversation. If there is a fit, we agree the paid scope, deliverables, price, and timing before work begins.

  1. 01 / Find it

    Growth Audit

Walk through the work with the people doing it. Find the bottleneck, establish its cost, and decide what is worth changing first.

You get: a prioritized opportunity, a baseline, and a scoped recommendation.

  2. 02 / Fix it

    Build Sprint

Build the smallest useful system, connect it to your workflow, and test it with your team before rolling it out.

You get: a working implementation, an agreed acceptance check, and a handover.

  3. 03 / Improve it

    Growth Partnership

Review what changed, keep the system useful, and tackle the next constraint when the results justify it.

You get: ongoing improvement against goals and a scope we agree together.

How do we decide whether the work succeeded?

Before building, we agree what to observe: time spent on a task, response speed, repeated entry, missed follow-up, or another measure that fits your business. We compare the working system with that baseline.

Do I have to commit to an ongoing partnership?

No. An audit or build can stand on its own. Ongoing work is a separate decision, with an agreed scope and review cadence.

What happens after a system is built?

The handover covers how to use it, who owns each decision, operating costs, and what to do when something needs attention. Any continuing support is agreed as part of the scope.

Can you work with the tools my team already uses?

We start by understanding your current tools and constraints. That may mean connecting existing systems, simplifying a process, or building something small. We choose the approach after seeing the work.

What if the team needs training?

Hands-on enablement can be part of the engagement. For self-directed learning and operating practices, explore PickBits Academy.

In practice

Build around the work people actually do.

The right solution can be as simple as entering a visit once and producing both documents from it.

Client work / field operations

One visit. One entry.
Both documents ready.

Before: carbon-copy tickets in the driveway, followed by re-keying the visit later.

After: one offline entry produces a service record and a separate invoice. The system is in daily field use.

Start with a conversation

What's holding your business back?

Tell me what your business does, where the work gets stuck, and what better would look like. A few honest sentences are enough.

I'll help you work out the first useful step. If AI or automation isn't the right answer, I'll say so.
